Complete Property Renovation — Bunbury, Cheshire

A full rewire and carefully planned lighting throughout an extensive renovation.

This substantial renovation project involved working closely with our customer over an extended period to provide a complete electrical rewire and support their plans for the property.

As the renovation progressed, we helped develop and install different lighting solutions around the barn, garage, driveway and tree-lined approach.

The aim was to balance practical illumination with the character and appearance of the property, creating welcoming and attractive external spaces after dark.

Projects like this demonstrate the importance of involving an electrician early, allowing cable routes, lighting positions, switching and future requirements to be considered before the finishing stages.

Home Library & Music Room

Turning a spare room into a personalised space to work, read and relax.

This project involved electrical planning for a home library and music room, complete with a computer workspace, ceiling speakers, sound equipment, books, memorabilia and a comfortable seating area.

Rather than simply installing lighting wherever it was convenient, we considered how different areas of the room would be used.

Task lighting was planned around the desk to help reduce unwanted shadows, while the relaxing area benefited from a more comfortable lighting arrangement.

Careful consideration was also given to sockets, switching and cable routes to help keep the finished space practical and uncluttered.
